Mesothelioma Cancer Network

Veteran Benefits and Services
The Mesothelioma Cancer Network supports mesothelioma patients and their families with information and resources on top treatments, specialists, cancer centers, financial options, and more. U.S. veterans are at an especially high risk of mesothelioma, a cancer caused by asbestos exposure. Every branch of the Armed Forces relied on asbestos for decades, not knowing it could cause mesothelioma and other deadly diseases. Today, veterans with mesothelioma can file for VA benefits and legal compensation.

ACI Alliance

Veterans and Cochlear Implants
The American Cochlear Implant Alliance (ACI Alliance) is a not-for-profit organization created to eliminate barriers to cochlear implantation by sponsoring research, driving heightened awareness and advocating for improved access to cochlear implants for patients of all ages. ACI Alliance works to promote veteran access to cochlear implants within the VA system and within the Community Care program. ACI Alliance’s work in veteran advocacy is tremendously helped by veterans sharing their own experiences getting cochlear implants through the VA system, and we are always welcoming additional stories. Our goal is to encourage others who are impacted by hearing loss to use our resources to explore whether they are a candidate for a cochlear implant, and in those cases how a cochlear implant can improve their quality of life.
